Istanbul: The first annual forum of digital transformation leaders in Arab countries, titled Empowering the Digital Future, wrapped up in Istanbul, Turkiye, on Wednesday. Convened by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) of the Arab League, the three-day event focused on numerous themes, including digital transformation strategies and methods of advancing an inclusive strategic vision for digital transformation within institutions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum tackled emerging and future technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT), and their role in enabling digital transformation, driving change, and managing organizational culture. Also discussed were cybersecurity and data protection, as well as the challenges of privacy and digital security within Arab institutions, in addition to forging international partnerships and collaborative frameworks.

The forum convened several undersecretaries, government functionaries, and decision-makers, alongside experts specializing in setting and executing digital transformation plans within institutions across various Arab nations.
