As part of the continuous development to the services provided by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) to citizens and residents, a lot of services are constantly added to Metrash2 on smart phones so that users can complete all their transactions and services provided by MoI in different aspects using their mobile phones easily.
Assistant Director of the Information Systems Department at MoI, Captain Engineer Abdul Azeez al-Rowaili, said that Metrash2 received many local, regional and international awards for the innovative and unique application.
Metrash2 was awarded Qatar Digital Government Award for best service provider for mobile applications at the fourth edition of Qatar’s information and communication technology exhibition and conference (Qitcom) in March, 2017.
The application also received the award of His Highness Sheikh Salem Al Ali Al Sabah for ‘Best Technology’.
