25 Medical Personnel Injured in Israeli Strike Near Hospital in Southern Lebanon

Doha: Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health announced on Saturday that 25 members of the medical, nursing, and administrative staff at a hospital in southern Lebanon were injured as a result of an Israeli strike.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry's Public Health Emergency Operations Center (PHEOC) stated that the staff at Hiram Hospital in the Tyre district sustained injuries after Israel conducted airstrikes near the hospital, leading to significant damage to the facility.

This incident marks the second occurrence in less than two months where the hospital has been endangered due to Israeli actions. The PHEOC highlighted this as evidence of Israel's violation of international humanitarian law, which requires the protection of healthcare facilities, and its neglect of related resolutions.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has climbed, with 3,123 reported killed and 9,506 others injured as of Saturday.
