The detachments of the Checkpoints and External Roads Department arrested three suspects wanted by the judiciary, during manual search procedures and checking the names of arrivals to the governorate in the wanted person's calculator. Wasit Police Commander, Major General Mohammed Qasim Al-Fahd, told the Iraqi National News Agency / NINA / that a terrorist suspect and two drug dealers were arrested and handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against them.
