Warplanes bombed an area in the Maute district in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
The bombing targeted the area between the villages of Kalala and Safra, according to the District Attorney, Kamran Hussein.
The Mayor said, according to the Kurdish Rudaw Media Network, on Tuesday: “The bombing occurred at eight o’clock this evening, in an area only about two kilometers from Kalala, the largest village in the Sharpazir region, without causing any casualties.”
He added, "We are not sure which country is tracking the planes," adding, "The planes that launched bombing operations in the past were Turkish."
It is noteworthy that the region is subjected to bombardment by combat aircraft and drones from time to time due to the presence of Kurdistan Workers’ Party militants there.
