Baghdad, Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, and the parliamentary delegation accompanying him returned, this Monday evening, to Baghdad, after a two-day official visit, to participate in the work of the Thirty-Sixth Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, which was held in Algeria for the period 26-27 May. According to a statement by his media office, Al-Mandalawi delivered Iraq's speech at the conference, and also held bilateral meetings and consultative meetings with the heads of Arab councils and delegations, and was honored by the Union in appreciation of his efforts during the period of Iraq's presidency, while the parliamentary delegation participated in the work of the committees and presented a number of proposals that were included in the final statement.'
