Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, directed the integration of service and security efforts during the visit to commemorate the martyrdom of the Messenger (PBUH). Al-Sudani stressed, during his follow-up to securing the commemoration of the martyrdom of the Messenger (PBUH) from the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command, the importance of adhering to professional aspects and applying the law in a manner that rises to the importance of the occasion and within all sectors of tasks and duties. The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement: "The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, visited today, Monday, the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command to follow up on securing the visit to commemorate the martyrdom of the Great Messenger (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) in Najaf. According to the statement, Al-Sudani was briefed on a report submitted by the Chairman of the Supreme S ecurity Committee, the Minister of Interior, via closed-circuit television, regarding the preparations that ensure the smoothness of the visit and the ease of transporting and dispatching visitors. The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations also provided a briefing on the security procedures and plan. The Governor of Najaf, the head of the Hajj and Umrah Authority responsible for the transportation file, the head of the service committee, and a number of field commanders also presented briefings to Al-Sudani on the same track, to secure all requirements for dealing with the large numbers coming to the shrine of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him). Al-Sudani stressed the importance of adhering to professional aspects and applying the law in a manner that rises to the importance of the occasion, and within all sectors of tasks and duties, and that service efforts are integrated with the security effort to present the best positive image confirmed by the Iraqis with their generosity and dedication, and re veals the reality of stability, and facilitates the movement of crowds of visitors coming from various governorates of Iraq. The Prime Minister stated: "The distinguished efforts witnessed by the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and the success and regularity that accompanied it, must be invested in all its joints to secure the pilgrimage, and support and enhance the work of the Supreme Committee for Million-man Pilgrimages," pointing to the necessity of vital integration in the aspects of leadership and control between the security forces, commitment to directives, and overcoming negatives within a comprehensive vision that relies on prior preparations. The Prime Minister also appreciated all the great and sincere efforts that put the interest of Iraq first, and sought to meet the aspirations of its people and sons, and the constants of these great occasions, before all considerations.
