Baghdad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani discussed, today, Tuesday, with British Ambassador Stephen Hitchen, relations between Iraq and Britain and ways to develop them. A statement from his media office stated that "Al-Sudani received, today, Tuesday, the British ambassador, and the meeting discussed relations between Iraq and Britain and ways to develop them in various sectors and fields, in a way that pushes towards strengthening the bonds of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries." During the meeting, according to the statement, they discussed the general situation in the region, especially what has been happening for months in Gaza, and worked on the necessity of stopping the war and ending the suffering of besieged civilians, as well as encircling the conflict and work to prevent the war from expanding to the rest of the region.
