Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani stressed the importance of preparing standards for partnership between the Iraq Development Fund and the private sector.
A statement from the Prime Minister's Office stated that Al-Sudani chaired the periodic meeting of the Board of Directors of the Iraq Development Fund today, Wednesday, and during the meeting, topics and procedures related to the work of the Fund were discussed, and it was also decided to proceed with signing the contract with the consultant who will supervise the (Edopa) project for building schools, in order to fill the shortage in school buildings.
Al-Sudani stressed the importance of cooperation with the private sector and setting standards for partnership between the Fund and this vital sector, based on what will be provided by the (KBR) company, which represents the advisory side of the government.
The Prime Minister directed the need to coordinate with the governorates; In order to increase the number of schools that will be implemented through the Fund within the (Edopa) project.
