Arrest of 4 accused of drug trafficking in Maysan

Security forces arrested 4 accused of drug trafficking, south of Maysan Governorate. Maysan Police Command said in a statement: "The arrest of the accused took place while they were trying to pass through the Qalaat Saleh checkpoint, and a quantity of crystal meth was seized in their possession, in addition to narcotic pills, which were hidden inside the vehicle they were riding in." It added: "Legal measures were taken against the accused and they were referred to the Directorate of Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in Maysan." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
