US President Joseph Biden expressed his gratitude for Trump's safety today, Sunday, in a short call with him after the failed assassination attempt. Biden said in a speech, reported by the American media: "I had a short and good conversation with Trump yesterday and I feel grateful that he is fine." He stressed that "the assassination attempt does not represent the United States and the important thing is unity in our country and it is the highest goal now even if it seems difficult to achieve due to the differences," noting that he "instructed the head of the Secret Service to review all security measures for the Republican Party conference and we will strengthen the security measures surrounding Trump." He added: "The FBI is leading the investigation into the shooting incident in Pennsylvania and we do not have details yet."
