Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan, Chief of Public Security, said that responding to incitement or engaging in activities that disrupt public security and order is a crime punishable by law. He emphasised that under Bahraini law, incitement alone constitutes a separate offence, regardless of whether the incited act is carried out. This statement was made in response to the actions of suspicious entities operating from abroad, which are calling for and inciting violence and illegal protests. The Chief of Public Security warned that responding to such calls endangers public safety and disrupts the interests of citizens, leading to legal accountability for both perpetrators and those who engage.
