Civil Defense Teams Put Out A Fire In A Food Industry Factory In Baghdad

The civil defense teams put out a fire that broke out in a food industry factory in Baghdad.

The Civil Defense Directorate said in a statement that its teams put out a fire that broke out inside a three-storey building used by "Al-Basha" factory for food industries in Jamila, east of Baghdad.

It added: "The civil defense teams mobilized and dispatched thirteen fire brigades to fight the fire inside the burning factory, and succeeded in stopping the spread of the fire to the neighboring buildings, after which direct storming operations were carried out, entering the center of the factory building and controlling the fire without recording human casualties while limiting the material damage."

It continued,: "As a result, the Civil Defense requested an investigation to be opened at the police station responsible for the geographical area and to summon a forensic expert to determine the causes of the fire in the first place."
