SC Launches Initiative to Invite Fans without Tickets to Enter Qatar During the World Cup

Key Issues

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) announced the launch of “Hayya with Me 1+3” initiative, which allows any fan from outside Qatar holding a Hayya card using the ticket number of one of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ matches to invite three fans who do not have tickets, to enter Qatar during the tournament, which will be held from November 20 to December 18.

According to a statement by SC, the applicant is required to be at least 18 years old. In addition, all international fans who are not ticket holders of all ages can benefit from this initiative, provided that the beneficiary holds a valid passport, noting that this privilege is not available to residents of Qatar, and it is restricted to those coming from outside the country.

Beneficiaries of this initiative must confirm the locations of their accomodation in Qatar during the tournament, and should pay a non-refundable fee of QR500, except for those under 12 years old.
