Doha Institute to Graduate 10th Class

Doha: The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies is set to celebrate its 10th master's graduation ceremony on May 21, 2026, at the Sheraton Doha. The event will honor 248 graduates, marking a significant milestone in the institute's history.

According to Qatar News Agency, the graduating cohort includes 164 students from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and 84 from the School of Economics, Administration and Public Policy. The institute's President, Abdelwahab El Affendi, highlighted that this milestone represents a pivotal stage in the institute's academic development and its ongoing efforts to establish itself as a leading research institution.

Officials have reported that preparations for the event are at an advanced stage, aiming to present a ceremony that reflects the institute's academic reputation. With this batch, the total number of graduates from the institute has reached approximately 1,640. The Doha Institute offers 19 internationally accredited master's programs and eight PhD programs, underscoring its commitment to providing high-quality education.
