Earthquake of Magnitude 4.6 Hits Swat Valley in Northwestern Pakistan

Swat Valley: An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwestern Pakistan, earlier Saturday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the National Seismic Monitoring Center in Pakistan reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range in northern Pakistan, at a depth of 64 kilometers. No injuries or damages have been reported.

Previously, on March 27, a 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province without causing any casualties or material losses.
