Doha: Egypt reiterated its firm and principled position of absolute and categorical rejection of any attempt to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, whether “forcibly or voluntarily”, considering this to be a liquidation of the Palestinian cause.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian State Information Service (SIS) stressed, in a statement Monday, that the Palestinian cause is the core of Egyptian and Arab national security, adding that Egypt’s position regarding this has always remained a firm and principled position that prioritizes national security considerations and the rights of the Palestinian people.

The statement noted that Egypt not only categorically and definitively rejected the displacement project proposed since the start of the aggression on Gaza, both politically and diplomatically, but also clearly declared it from the first hours of the aggression.
