Beirut: Eight people were injured in the total toll of Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours in southern Lebanon. Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported a total of eight injuries from Wednesday’s Israeli attacks, including five in Majdal Selm, two in Maroun El Ras, and one former detainee.
According to Qatar News Agency, last Sunday marked the end of the 60-day deadline for Israeli occupation forces to withdraw from the border villages and towns in southern Lebanon, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement reached on Nov. 27. As residents returned to their villages and towns, they came under gunfire from the Israeli army, resulting in dozens of people being killed or injured.
