H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received in Abu Dhabi Ignazio Cassis, President of the Swiss Confederation and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation relations and aspects of enhancing them across various domains.
They also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern and exchanged views on the latest developments at the regional and international arenas.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed hailed the distinguished relations between the UAE and the Swiss Confederation, highlighting the keenness of the two friendly countries to strengthen and develop them in the mutual interest and benefit of their people.
After the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and Ignazio Cassis signed a protocol to amend the agreement signed between their countries to avoid double taxation with regard to taxes on income.
