Dr Mariam Abdulmalik, Managing Director of the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), announced that Muaither Health Centre will start functioning from April 8 and the one at Al Wajbah from May 13, noting that the official opening of both facilities will be end of next month, so that the total number of health center reaches 25.
This came at a press conference held yesterday by the PHCC to announce the operation of the two centers along with the detailed of the relevant plans.
According to Dr Abdulmalik, the increase in the number of health centers comes within the development witnessed in the health sector of the country, noting that both Muaither and Al Wajbah Health Centers are part of the expansion plan covered by the National Health Strategy whose implementation is led by the PHCC under the patronage of HE the Minister of Health, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
