HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali launches fourth edition of Youth Leaders Initiative

Manama, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Cabinet Affairs Ministry and Honorary President of the Good Word Society (GWS), announced the launch of the fourth edition of the Youth Leaders Initiative, which will take place in October. The initiative is organised by GWS and the Arab Voluntary Union (AVU), in collaboration with the Arab League's Department of Sustainable Development and International Cooperation, the United Nations (UN) Volunteers programme, and the UN Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). The initiative aims to equip 70 young men and women with leadership skills, following the graduation of 210 participants in previous editions. It focuses on fostering innovative youth leadership to address regional and global changes, contributing to Bahrain's economic and social development through strategic thinking and modern management techniques. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali underscored that the Youth Leadership Initiative aligns with the directives of His Majesty King Ha mad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support the youth and expand their participation in developmental efforts, in line with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali commended the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), for their role in empowering Bahraini youth across various sectors through initiatives that invest in youth potential and promote their participation on the global stage.
