HM King congratulated by HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed on Bahrain’s gold medal

Manama, His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Vice President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), sent a cable of congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa, on the occasion of Bahrain winning the gold medal in the women's 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris 2024 Olympics, achieved by Bahraini athlete Winfred Yavi. HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed emphasised that this achievement is a result of HM the King's unwavering support of the sports sector and directives to provide the best facilities for Bahraini sports.
