Data from the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics revealed on Tuesday that inflation in the Netherlands has surged to its highest level in a year, as anticipated, for July.
Consumer prices rose by an annual rate of 3.7 percent last month, up from 3.2 percent in June.
This marks the highest inflation rate since July 2023, when prices increased by 4.6 percent. The significant rise in inflation is largely attributed to a 5.5 percent increase in housing rents.
