Iranian electrical power transmission lines equipped to Diyala stopped working without knowing the reasons

General

The Iranian electrical power transmission lines equipped to Diyala Governorate stopped working suddenly. A local source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the electrical power transmission lines coming from Iran, Mirsad and Sarpil Zahab, feeding the cities of Diyala, stopped working without knowing the reasons. He added that the interruption of power lines led to a decline in the supply of electricity to the areas of Khanaqin and Al-Muqdadiya, northeast of Baqubah. Diyala Governorate suffers from fluctuations in Iranian power lines (Diyala - Mirsad, 400 MW, and Khanaqin - Sarpil Zahab, 150 MW), and their frequent outages for unknown reasons.
