Iranian Foreign Ministry expresses condolences over Haniyeh’s martyrdom in Tehran

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani offered his condolences over the martyrdom of the head of the political bureau of Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran. He said, "We extend our condolences to the great and proud Palestinian people, Hamas movement, all Palestinian resistance factions, all resistance factions, peoples and countries supporting the Palestinian cause on the martyrdom of the Mujahid Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Tehran." Kanaani pointed out that the relevant agencies in the Islamic Republic of Iran are continuing investigations into the dimensions and details of this incident, and there is no doubt that the pure blood of this great Mujahid who spent his life in jihad and honorable struggle against the usurping Zionist entity and on the path to liberating holy Quds and liberating the oppressed Palestinian people from the clutches of the Zionist occupation will never be in vain. The Foreign Ministry spokes man stressed that the martyrdom of the Mujahid Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran will strengthen the deep and strong ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and dear Palestine and the resistance.
