Beirut: One person was killed on Tuesday in an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that an Israeli drone struck a car on Deir Al-Zahrani road in southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of one individual.
A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect on November 27 last year, mandating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. Subsequently, the Lebanese government approved an extension of the deadline until February 18. Israeli forces withdrew from all villages and towns except for five locations.
