General

Beirut, The Israeli entity continued its shelling of villages and towns in southern Lebanon. Field sources told Qatar News Agency that Israeli warplanes launched a series of air strikes last night, targeting the city of Khiam and the town of Kafr Kila. The warplanes also launched two missile raids targeting Hebbariye and the outskirts of Kafr Hamam. Israeli warplanes flew at low altitude over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line in the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the city of Tyre. They fired flares at night and until this morning, over the villages of the western and central sectors, Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported. The Israeli entity deliberately attacks civilians, especially in the main street adjacent to the Blue Line from Naqoura to Bint Jbeil. It seeks to achieve a geographical buffer zone devoid of residents similar to what was previously called the border strip before the year 2000. The Israeli entity continues its escalation against the towns and vi llages of southern Lebanon, coinciding with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, which has resulted in the deaths and injuries of civilians and forced hundreds of families to flee their homes.
