Israeli Occupation Army Intensifies Raids in Khan Younis, as Casualties Surge to 89 Martyrs, 263 Wounded

The death toll of the Israeli offensive in the city of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, surged to 89 martyrs over the past 24 hours. In a statement on Tuesday, the government media office in Gaza, clarified that 89 Palestinians were martyred in the Israeli relentless onslaught on Khan Younis over the past 24 hours, in addition to 263 injured, with 68 people still missing. The Israeli occupation army launched 130 airstrikes, while tanks were ramming into the Palestinian enclave and destroyed 13 houses while inhabitants were inside. Also, the raids hit 190 houses and residential compounds, in addition to imposing siege on hundreds of families and forcing tens of thousands of Palestinians to flee their homes, amid a cataclysmic humanitarian and medical situation exacerbated by intense Israeli army's airstrikes, the statement can confirm. This came following high-intensity airstrikes and artillery shelling in multiple areas in the enclave, which targeted houses and IDPs' conglomeration areas, with the Isr aeli occupation army intentionally bombarding residential structures and densely populated neighborhoods, in addition to committing mass murders to inflict maximum casualties. In addition, the Israeli occupation forces have continued their ground incursions into vast swaths of neighborhoods in Rafah city, south of the enclave, since last May and infiltrated many residential neighborhoods, committing atrocious massacres, at a time famine widely festers in the northern enclave, while life-saving assistance is being blocked as goods are running out in markets.
