Kuwait Reports Drone Attack on Northern Border Sites

Kuwait: Kuwait's Ministry of Defense said two explosive-laden drones targeted northern border posts earlier Friday, causing material damage without casualties. Official spokesman Col. Saud Abdulaziz Al Atwan stated the drones, guided via fiber optics, originated from Iraq and struck two land border locations. Authorities have launched immediate measures to address the incident.

According to Qatar News Agency, the attack involved drones that carried explosives and were directed at strategic border sites. The Ministry of Defense confirmed that while the material damage was reported, there were no injuries or fatalities. The incident has prompted the deployment of security forces to secure the affected areas and prevent further incursions.

Authorities are working closely with international partners to investigate the source and motive behind the attack. The Ministry of Defense has assured the public of heightened security measures along the border to safeguard against future threats.
