Beirut: Prime Minister of Lebanon Nawaf Salam met Tuesday with Deputy Chief of the UK Defense Staff Harvey Smith, currently visiting Lebanon. The discussions focused on bilateral cooperation, particularly in security and military affairs. The meeting also addressed regional and international developments of mutual interest.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the talks, the Lebanese Prime Minister emphasized the necessity of a complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory.
