Doha: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun discussed the latest developments in southern Lebanon during his meeting today with Deputy U.S. Envoy to the Middle East Morgan Ortagus.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides discussed issues related to southern Lebanon, the work of the international monitoring committee, the Israeli withdrawal, and the situation in the south.
Aoun and Ortagus also discussed the situation on the Lebanese-Syrian border, the ongoing coordination between the Lebanese and Syrian sides, as well as financial and economic reforms and the government’s efforts to combat corruption.
