The company provided color folders feature for Windows users on OneDrive through file manager This feature will be gradually rolled out, and once available the colored folders will appear in the desktop if already used in OneDrive on the web. In addition, Microsoft has improved the sharing experi ence, as users can now see who works on a particular document in real time. Microsoft promised significant improvements in the document library experience, as OneDrive will be more flexible and fast, available in mid-2025, and will reveal full details later. On the other hand, OneDrive apps in mobile devices will receive special attention. Microsoft has announced a comprehensive app update with improvements aimed at "reviving favourite memories". The new version of the app will focus on images, providing fast mobility between albums, people and preferred images, and has developed research to better understand natural language. The updated version of the OneDrive app is currently available for Android users, while it will arrive for iOS users next month. Additional changes to the OneDrive app in iOS and Android include the possibility of importing images from other services, such as Google Drive, Google Photos and Drop Box, and facilitating photo sharing with people who do not use OneDrive, to send high-re solution images without having to log in from the other end.
