Riyadh: The Ministry of Labour, under the leadership of HE Minister Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, conducted a series of significant meetings with counterparts from various countries during the Global Labor Market Conference (GLMC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing global labor market challenges.
According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Al Marri met with labor ministers from Jordan, Libya, and Palestine, including Dr. Khalid Al Bakkar, Ali Al Abed, and Dr. Enas Hosni Al Attari, respectively. The meetings aimed to strengthen joint collaborations and explore legislative updates to improve labor market dynamics. The focus was on developing a unified global strategy to tackle labor market issues.
Further discussions were held with HE Minister Asif Nazrul from Bangladesh and HE Minister Ridhiwani Kikwete from Tanzania. The dialogues emphasized the importance of adopting a global approach to labor market challenges, ensuring that legislative frameworks are modernized to reflect the evolving needs of the workforce. The meetings highlighted the shared commitment to fostering international labor cooperation and enhancing employment opportunities.
