Doha: The Ministry of Culture (MOC) is participating in the 4th edition of the “Parents to Be Festival 2025”, organized by the “Qatar Reads” initiative, which commenced this evening at Qatar National Library (QNL).

According to Qatar News Agency, MOC’s Director of the Libraries Department Jassim Ahmed Al Buainain stated that the Ministry’s participation in the festival, which is specifically aimed at parents, aligns with its vision to enhance cultural exchange and strengthen community bonds, through a special pavilion featuring numerous interactive activities. These include publications related to children and families, traditional Qatari songs reflecting the country’s heritage, and opportunities for participants to learn about the latest family-related initiatives and services.

The Ministry of Culture’s pavilion offers family-oriented activities, such as the family handprints event, With My Family, a daily interactive competition, and gifts for children and families.

The three-day festival aims to provide an interactive educational environment that equips families with essential information and guidance on pregnancy, childbirth, and child-rearing stages through lectures and meetings with experts from esteemed institutions in the country.

The festival also includes workshops, seminars, and interactive games suitable for all ages, along with new books and products related to motherhood and childhood.

Additionally, the festival features a family market with approximately 15 stores offering books, educational products, and family activities, as well as a dedicated area for children’s recreational activities in a safe environment.
