The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) launched yesterday a project for a knowledge portal that aims to document the work procedures of administrative units, and the procedures of all services provided by the ministry in accordance with the latest international standards.
During the launch ceremony of the Knowledge Portal, HE Mr. Masoud bin Mohamed Al Ameri, the Minister of Justice, affirmed that this vital project comes out of the ministry's commitment to developing the services it provides, which necessarily entails inventory and documentation of all work procedures.
HE the Minister pointed out that the strategic plan of MOJ includes an integrated vision for the projects of modernizing and developing the procedural system for work in the ministry. It is important to have documentation of work procedures in all administrative units to avoid personal judgement and the difference in the implementation of the transaction from one employee to another, and then provide the procedures that have been documented and approved with all related data. This also includes other data concerning all the activities of the ministry, through the knowledge portal to be a single source of truth for data in MOJ that depends on it in supporting decision-making, as he said.
