Moscow: Russia has slammed Moldova’s expulsion of three of its diplomats as part of anti-Russian policy, saying the move will not go unanswered.

According to Qatar News Agency, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated that the Russian Embassy in Chisinau operates strictly in accordance with the provisions of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and does not interfere in the internal affairs of the Republic of Moldova. Zakharova emphasized that there will be a response from the Russian side.

On Monday, Moldova expelled the Russian Embassy employees, accusing them of conducting activities contrary to the diplomatic status.
