Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs, inspected a rain insulators project in the Southern Governorate.
The minister affirmed that all citizens' requests submitted through municipal councils were taken care of by the ministry before the start of the rain season.
He emphasized the ministry's commitment to expediting the implementation of rain insulator requests in coordination with municipal councils, noting that 57 requests were completed during the first half of the year, along with 31 requests in progress and 47 applications being processed.
Al Mubarak highlighted that the ministry, in cooperation with the Capital Municipality and municipal councils, has completed 8,496 requests within the rain insulators project from 2006 until 2023.
The minister explained that municipal councils are responsible for installing rain insulators for low-income families. The installation requests are emailed to the ministry after they have been evaluated based on the standards in the project guide.
