Doha: The National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA) organized a closing ceremony for the activities of the 2024 Summer Youth Cyber Camp. During the ceremony, HE President of the National Cybersecurity Agency Eng. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Farahid Al-Maliki, honored the agency's partners in the camp, the expert speakers, the winners of the Consultation Corner competition, the Best Hacker competition, and the teams that won for the best projects. On this occasion, Director of the National Cyber Excellence Department at the National Cybersecurity Agency Dalal Al Aqeedi said that the closing ceremony highlights the agency's efforts in supporting and enhancing the skills of the young participants in the Summer Youth Cyber Camp. Throughout the camp, the agency worked to refine the participants' skills, providing them with valuable experiences in navigating cyberspace with safety, confidence, and efficiency. She added that the first edition of the camp has been a tremendous success, as evidenced by the projects showcased today, which were innovated by the students who participated in the camp, as well as the activities that engaged the students, creating an educational and entertaining environment. The camp, which included around 200 students, aimed to enhance youth awareness of cybersecurity concepts and digital safety, improve their ability to use the internet and modern technology securely and effectively, and foster their cyber skills and social responsibility. During the camp, the National Cybersecurity Agency provided theoretical and practical training content in both Arabic and English. The camp also included a variety of activities and events, such as theoretical lectures, intensive practical training, visual presentations, interactive games, group and individual knowledge competitions, a cybersecurity consultation corner, a cyber penetration test, an open entertainment day, graduation projects, and field visits.
