The National Security Agency thwarted the smuggling of more than half a million liters of oil derivatives.
A statement by the National Security Agency said that, as part of its series of operations to curb the smuggling of oil derivatives, the National Security Agency thwarted attempts to smuggle quantities of fuel estimated at more than half a million liters.
It added that the seizure operations took place in the provinces (Baghdad, Anbar, Diyala, Salah al-Din, Nineveh, and Karbala), and also resulted in the raiding of (8) dens containing smuggling tanks, in addition to the arrest of (14) accused according to judicial arrest warrants.
It continued, that the seized materials were confiscated and all the accused were referred to the competent legal authorities to take the necessary measures against them in accordance with the law./ End
