North Korea announced that its latest test was of an intercontinental ballistic missile that "runs on solid fuel". Leader Kim Jong Un considered it a major step in Pyongyang's ability to lanch a counter-nuclear attack.
North Korea's official News Agency reported that the "Hwasong-18" intercontinental missile was tested on Thursday, and it represents the "main means of the strategic military force."
Kim said, "The development of ICBMs will greatly reorganize our strategic deterrence and enhance the effectiveness of our
nuclear counterattack," according to KCNA. / End
