Oil Minister keynote speaker at Annual MENA Conference

London, Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, the Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, was a keynote speaker at the 21st Annual Middle East and North Africa Conference, held under the theme "Pathways to Prosperity", at the London Business School. In his remarks, the minister affirmed the significance of implementing environmental principles, promoting studies, creativity, and innovation in the green economy, and utilising environmentally friendly technologies to advance Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Minister Bin Daina underscored the need for oil-producing countries to collaborate and coordinate efforts to enhance energy security. Additionally, he emphasised the importance of focusing on renewable energy sources, investing in research and development, and training to improve energy efficiency practices. The minister commended the private sector for its role in bolstering national and international efforts to protect the environment while striving to achieve developme ntal and economic objectives. The conference featured over 40 speakers, including ministers, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.
