His Excellency Mario Abdo Benitez, President of the Republic of Paraguay, met with His Excellency Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Non-Resident Ambassador and Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Paraguay, at the Presidential Palace in the capital on the sidelines of His Excellency’s participation in an economic and investment forum.

During the meeting, His Excellency Al Qamzi conveyed to President Benitez the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, as well as their wishes to the President and the people of Paraguay for further growth and development.

For his part, President Benitez conveyed his greetings to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and his wishes for the people of the UAE to achieve further growth and prosperity.

Moreover, both sides discussed prospects of fostering bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Paraguay to serve the interests of the two countries and their peoples, in addition to various issues of common concern.
