Prime Minister of Qatar and UAE Deputy Prime Minister Discuss Regional Mediation Efforts

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in a telephone conversation with HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The discussion focused on fostering cooperative relations between Qatar and the UAE and explored ways to support and strengthen these ties.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders also addressed Pakistani mediation efforts between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The conversation emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts to support mediation aimed at de-escalation, which would contribute to regional security and stability.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs underscored the necessity for all parties involved to engage with ongoing mediation efforts.
