Doha: The State of Qatar has signed an administrative services agreement with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The agreement was formalized in the presence of HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani, and HE President of the ICAO Council Salvatore Sciacchitano. The ceremony took place on the sidelines of the ICAO Facilitation Conference (FALC 2025), which commenced on Monday in Doha.
According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was signed by Acting Director-General of the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Mohammed Faleh Al Hajri and Secretary General of ICAO Juan Carlos Salazar. This new agreement underscores ICAO’s commitment to fostering international cooperation and promoting sustainable growth within the aviation sector on a global scale.
The agreement also signifies Qatar’s dedication to adapting to the swift changes within the aviation industry and enhancing its influence as a significant contributor to the future of air transport.
