Qatar Charity Distributes Food Aid to Vulnerable Families in Tunisia and Mali

Doha: Qatar Charity continues to distribute food aid to needy families in Tunisia and Mali, including orphans and individuals with special needs, as part of its Ramadan “Giving Lives On” campaign. This initiative reflects the values of social solidarity and international cooperation, and involves various humanitarian projects aimed at the most vulnerable groups worldwide.

According to Qatar News Agency, in Tunisia, through a strategic partnership with local authorities and official entities, Qatar Charity has distributed 500 food baskets in Ben Arous Governorate, containing general food items.

In Mali, Qatar Charity distributed approximately 813 food baskets as part of its “Fasting Breakfast” project, benefiting 4,065 individuals from orphan families, needy families, and individuals with special needs in Bamako and its suburbs. This effort contributes to alleviating their living burdens and enhancing the spirit of social solidarity.

This initiative underscores Qatar Charity’s ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of its sponsored groups and mitigating their suffering, particularly with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

Qatar Charity launched its Ramadan “Giving Lives On” campaign for the current season 1446 AH / 2025 AD, which is expected to be implemented with the support of benevolent individuals in 40 countries worldwide, including Qatar, targeting 4.5 million needy beneficiaries.
