Manama: The Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, is participating in the Arados Exhibition and Auction of Ancient Coins held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain from January 23 to 25.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation is led by Hussein Rajab Al Ismail, Director of the Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center. The delegation includes stamp and numismatic collectors from Qatar, as well as collectors affiliated with the center who are interested in collecting stamps and numismatics.
The exhibition sees participation from stamp and currency associations from Gulf and Arab countries, as well as various countries worldwide. Additionally, some companies specializing in evaluating paper and metal currencies are participating.
The center aims to promote and spread the culture of stamp and coin collecting. It seeks to advance the hobby and provide suitable conditions for its development through scientific and technical means.
Furthermore, the center strives to facilitate the practice of the hobby for its members and to strengthen cooperative ties between stamp and coin collectors in Qatar and other countries.
