Mr. Faleh Al-Nuaimi, Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Postal Services Company, has announced the opening of 37 new postal branches in the current year, including 24 branches to be renovated with the new company brand, and 13 small kiosks at the branches of Al Meera Consumer Goods Company, which achieves the company's strategy of converging mail services to beneficiaries.
Al-Nuaimi added that Qatar Post would soon open Al Mansoura and Souk Al Ali branches, and that the remaining branches would be opened this year. The branches will cover all the services provided by the main branch, including both corporate and individual services, regular and smart PO Boxes, as well as home delivery services to individuals, and corporate delivery services to companies and offices, in addition to other modern and self-services.
Moreover, he pointed out that Qatar Post is working to launch more branches in various areas in the country, as part of the company's plan for 2018, which is concerned with supporting and expanding the network of postal branches and services. He also explained that the company would continue to invest more resources to sustain the postal network, improve home and corporate delivery services, and offer various services promoting digital marketing and e-commerce.
