Doha: Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) signed on Wednesday an agreement with Qatar Development Bank to launch new academic programs for bachelor's and master's degrees in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation management, in cooperation with Northumbria University, to commence in the academic year 20242025. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of HE Chairman of QFBA Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, with CEO of QFBA Khalifa Al Salahi Al Yafei and CEO of Qatar Development Bank Abdulrahman Hesham Al Suwaidi signing on the strategic partnership. This endeavor is part of the university's commitment to offering high-quality programs and new specializations that are specifically tailored to the evolving demands of the financial sector. Additionally, the university is committed to offering educational opportunities that are in alignment with the labor market, students' aspirations, and current and future demands. The strategic partnership between QFBA and Qatar Development Bank entails th e provision of support to students enrolled in the new academic programs by offering them the opportunity to participate in training courses and events organized by the Bank, reward exceptional students for their achievements in the field of entrepreneurship, as well as mentor and encourage students to conduct their final research on topics that can support QDB's strategic objectives. The Academy announced that the new academic programs for the 2024-2025 academic year are now accepting applications and registrations.
