Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA), the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) and Google Cloud announced yesterday bolstering their strategic partnership to include establishing a new Center of Excellence training facility and new Google office in the State of Qatar.

This step comes following a previous announcement about establishing a Google Cloud region in Qatar allowing new and existing customers and partners to run their cloud data from Qatar. These notable initiatives constitute an extension of the strategic collaboration agreement signed between QFZA and Google Cloud in 2020, which aims at supporting the continued growth of the technology sector investments in Qatar.
