QSE Index Closes Lower as Market Sees Decline in Shares

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) concluded its trading session on Sunday with a decrease of 93.87 points, or 0.83 percent, closing at 11,167.75 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session witnessed a total of 142,843,563 shares being traded, amounting to a value of QAR 302,756,573.995. These transactions were executed through 11,171 operations spanning all market sectors.

Throughout the trading session, the shares of 20 companies experienced an increase, while 29 companies saw a decline in their share prices. Meanwhile, 4 companies’ shares remained at their previous closing prices.

By the end of the session, the market capitalization had fallen to QAR 663,393,609,461.743, a decrease from QAR 668,298,298,297.300 recorded in the previous trading session.
